Scott was an extremely promising golfer during his school days.  He played off a 5 Handicap at school and was the mainstay of the college team during his time.  Although he did not make the “big time” on the course – he did have an interesting golfing aside.  Scott spent two years caddying at St Andrews, Scotland (2001/2002) including two European PGA events and managed to make himself “a few bob”.  What a great experience he had.  He stills get a play a bit of golf but the Chicago season is rather short – difficult to find a little white ball in the snow!

While at school he gained a bursary and played rugby, cricket and golf – he was an excellent all-rounder.

On leaving school Scott worked for New Zealand Insurance from 1996 to 1999 and during that time gained various insurance related qualifications.  He returned to his insurance career in 2001 with Marsh and McLennan Companies and is now a Vice President with the Company.  During his career he has been posted to London, San Francisco and is currently in Chicago.

Scott has travelled extensively in Europe, North America and Asia.

He now resides in Chicago with his wife Katie and his two daughters Zara and Annabelle.
