Grant Willcox

Grant completed five years at College gaining all the qualifications through to Year 13.  He said he was a Debater but not much else – too busy chasing the girls!

From school Grant joined King Electrical and completed his Electrician’s Trade Cert and NZ Electrical Registration.

He headed to the United States where he has worked in various states for various companies.  While in the US Grant has gained various Electrical Registrations.  While working in Chicago IL he had three ex-Matamata College guys as workmates – Carl Daisley, Steven Cox and Marcus Darragh.  He now owns Willcox Electrical in Vernon Hills IL.

Living and working in the US has given him many opportunities to travel – Europe and lots of the US, Morocco, Mexico, Pacific Islands and Aussie.

Grant has obtained US citizenship. He has converted to Judaism.  He has set up and operates a successful Commercial Electrical Contracting Company in the greater Chicago area.  He has run the Chicago marathon and now plays adult-league ice hockey, snowboards, loves to travel and spend time with his boys.

Grant is married to Ariella and they have two boys, Zev (9) and Asher (8).
