Board of Trustees vision

To provide an environment that ensures the school motto of “Quality Education for All” is achieved.

The Board of Trustees aims to achieve this by:

Working with the Senior Management Team to ensure cohesive Governance of the school.
Maintaining the school buildings and grounds, and implementing the 10 Year Property Plan to improve facilities
Prudent financial management of the school, to achieve maximum benefit from Operations Grants and other funds.
Being a good employer, acting in accordance with all Employment laws

The intended outcome being a learning environment that makes Matamata College the first choice of secondary education for the community of Matamata and allows all its students to access a Quality Education.
